whites and shades of brown for labour day

Happy Monday style lovers, it is labor day here, and school back in session by tomorrow, and can you believe summer is literally over? Where did the time go gosh my favorite time of the year just came and went by like the breeze so fast.
Clearly, I’m breaking the rules or should I say myth about wearing whites around labor day which is considered a fashion no-no, having said that fashion can be anything you choose it to be and that’s one of my favorite things about the fashion industry the rule is no rule at all, as style icons and designers like Alexander McQueen and Zac Posen said “its a new era I fashion – there are no rules”
I personally love stretchy fabric as it makes the piece much easier to wear and I find it very comfortable, and this dress was just that. Styling this white dress was a breeze once I decided to go with different shades of brown, so it won’t be too matchy-matchy.
The belt is more of chocolatey brown, the bag is a cinnamon brown and the sandals is caramel or even tawny brown and my sunglasses which is obviously not new on here is a Tortoiseshell as worn here, here here and in many past posts, and even future post to come lol as it is one of my favorite pairs. For the earrings, I decided to add a pop of pink to make the outfit stand out.
