Hello, and a happy new week to you, welcome to my blog, as you know by now if you have been with me on my blogging journey for a while, you did know I love styling my colors all year round. Now I recently got a question about how to be stylish during the winter months without wearing colors yet not being in blacks or even dark clothing for that matter.
My answer to this question was to do neutrals, the question actually came at a great time as I have been thinking of writing a post about my recent love for neutral colors. I thought to also share how I would typically style my favorite go-to neutral also known as the tan color.
Now the reason why tan is my go-to neutral is that it can be widely diverse and a very functional color, and to be honest I prefer tans and nude colors to black, I have also styled tan here and even switched it up here last winter,
Having said that, I do have days where either the weather is messy especially when snow has mixed with rain or in between melting and it has turned dirty. In such cases, I won’t even bother styling colors just so the dirt does not mess up my outfit of the day.
For this post, I decided to style this stretchy asymmetrical dress I got while pregnant with my now six-year-old son, haha I know it’s that old, I layered the dress with a black turtleneck sweater. Matching my tan jacket with this circle bag in the same color, a belt to sitch my waist and finished with this nude boots which I got as an investment piece.
