So finally April is officially over today and I am so glad it did because I felt it was such a long and draggy month, maybe it was due to the never-ending cold weather or maybe I was anxious for the warm sun to hit my body, I honestly do not know I am just so happy this month is done!
Anywho moving on to today’s post, I love wearing and styling pieces that generally go over my waist as I find it flattering on my body type, also it helps in hiding my midsection area or my “mummy tummy” as I fondly call it lol.
One of such pieces is the high waisted pants and I have worn it few times and I can assure you I am definitely not done as I will share more ways of styling high waisted in few posts to come. Having said that I am restyling this white pants with this velvet piece that can be styled as either a wrap around dress without the white pants or a kimono (versatility),
I am sharing a little bit of what it looks like as a dress and my personal favorite is styling it as a kimono, with the burst of floral colors and texture on the kimono I decided to keep things simple and let the kimono speak for itself kind of and just wore minimal pieces of jewelry like the rings to match the colors of the kimono and wite earrings to match pants and tank top, and I completed the look with nude shoes.
