standing out in the timeless black and gold

I realized I always bypass sharing outfits I actually wore for special occasions and or events. That is why today I’ll be sharing this look which I wore this past January for my wedding anniversary dinner date with the hubster. Also, due to being sick during the holidays I couldn’t get to publish all my looks.

I sincerely hope today’s post fills in the gap and makes it up to you. Having said that, it is not news I enjoy looking beautiful, seriously who wouldn’t right, but I also love feeling comfortable. Not all beauty has to be a pain, yes I do have some killer heels that hurt like crazy and I still hold on to them, don’t ask me why lol.

However, when its date night I always opt for comfort without trading my style. For my anniversary, I didn’t want to go out with my main focus being the looks and end up clenching my teeth from being cold half the night. Trust me I learnt the hard way, so knowing it will always be during the coldest time of the year I have found creative ways to be stylish, warm and comfortable so I can truly enjoy myself.

For this look, I was specific with the style of the turtleneck sweater being fitted and with very minor details to it. As I wanted the ruffled hem top I decided to pair it with, to stand out and grab the attention which it did because the compliments wouldn’t stop lol not that I was complaining : ).

I wanted the bottom to be fitted as well and this black bandage skirt came right to mind. I went with my most comfortable pumps which I don’t regret investing in, by the way, chose a shoulder bag and finished up the look with gold jewelries.
