Happy Monday style lovers! My sincere apologies I couldn’t post last Friday due to situations beyond my control, my blog host is having issues because of some updates they made which affected my already finished and scheduled posts, but not to worry I will have it posted this Friday for sure!
Moving on to today’s post is this crisp white dress which believe it or not is actually my first dress in white. I haven’t in the past worn much of whites in any piece for that matter because of my kids, I would rather not wear than wearing and its all messed up and not looking as white as I want, however, my kids are growing so am gradually incorporating it back into my style and closet. And yes I know that sounds totally like attributes of OCD which I am when it comes to my closet lol.
One of the features that drew me to this dress is the slit obviously right lol, again I haven’t worn a dress with such a long slit like this in years and I mean well over five years because I have always been a mum on the go and I personally didn’t think it was appropriate to be with my kids and the wind suddenly blows my dress up and all my business is out while my kids look on, lol like seriously that’s a no no lol for me.
I decided to pair this dress as always in a simple way, with these green mules, styled in a different color here, this inspired the matching color in accessories to go well with the entire outfit. Now, this bag you will be seeing quite a bit as I will definitely be styling a lot this spring and summer, I styled differently in this post last summer.
