Happy Easter Monday lovelies! It is a long weekend here, what better way to start the week after such a glorious celebration than in this all bright and vibrant yellow monochromatic suit that screams spring is here at last! Although the weather is still kind of cold and windy here in Toronto, hopefully, it should get better as time goes on.
So power suits have been trending in the fashion world for quite some time now and I love it! I especially love the monochromatic trend as well, as styled in this post, here and here, and to be totally honest with you I find both trends fascinating, fun and easy to put together. I loved the double-breasted buttons style of the blazer and that’s one of the features that actually drew me into getting this suit because I didn’t have this style in my blazer collection, so also my love for high waisted pants sealed the deal and I knew I had to get the complete suit outfit.
Because yellow can be tricky to style, I decided not to do heavy jewelry and just keep it simple. Still, keeping it simple, I just added this gorgeous matching earrings, wore a tank top opposed to a shirt or blouse just so that overall, the outfit can stand out as it should, and for shoes, I paired this classic and timeless pointy style with the suit.
I decided to do another hue in the yellow palette or color family, by adding this jacket and hat which is unbelievably a dead-on match and in the same color and literally the same fabric, overall I love the complete look and I hope you do too, and also enjoy this post as much as I did working on it!
