my mini vacation to malta recap

When the opportunity came for me to travel alone without my children, my first answer was absolute no, I was scared at the same time I was lowkey excited lol and caught in a dilemma. My hubby’s first cousin was having her 50th birthday in Malta which is a small island in the central Mediterranean for the weekend. I thought it is too short for the amount of time spent flying to and back home, most importantly it was my birthday weekend which means I won’t be spending it with my family, my children.

However, with the persuasion and encouragement of my hubby, my mum and my sisters (yep it took the whole city lol) I decided why not also because the celebrant has been such a sweet hearted and loving person towards me over the years, and I, in turn, love her right back.

NOW BEFORE YOU READ FURTHER, I WILL BE SHARING A BIT OF FRIDAY AND ALL SATURDAY ONLY, IN TODAY’S POST. DAY THREE WILL BE IN A SEPARATE POST BECAUSE IT FELL ON MY BIRTHDAY, AND IT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY TRIP AND THE MOST FUN!

Upon arrival, to Radisson Blue Golden Sands hotel I stayed at the Serene country view suite. The accommodation included breakfast and dinner, which was all well planned by her event planner and friend. I rested for a bit, showered, spoke to my family and went to have dinner, where I met the rest of the family, and the celebrant’s friends and guest. We all ate, chatted, made jokes, took pictures, got acquainted and just enjoyed the evening while anticipating the next day which was Saturday and the night of the party everyone came in for.

outfit I wore for dinner on day of arrival which was Friday!
My room was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view, been a suite, I had a living area, kitchen, the bedroom and lovely washroom with a jacuzzi tub which I didn’t get round to using.

Woke up early enough before breakfast was done at 10 am, walked around the hotel, took some pictures. Then decided to go back to my room to get few pieces and head to the beach to take more pictures so I can create this blog post :).

The party was absolutely fun, I danced as I have never danced before, I couldn’t even eat as much. I was just consuming water to be well hydrated lol. I’m super happy I went for this trip, I wished it was for a week at least so I could see more of the city, but had I an amazing time, I most especially enjoyed dancing.
