Look and Feel Elegant In A Cape Coat

You know how you see a piece online and think “I’m not sure how this will look on me, and when it arrives you not only like it but you fall head over hills in love with it? Well, that is exactly what happened to me regarding a cape coat, and as always when I love something, I’m definitely sharing it with you.

I can literally hear you saying wait what cape lol? Yes, a cape coat, and here’s how google defines it, “A cape is a clothing accessory or a sleeveless outer garment which drapes the wearer’s back, arms, and chest, and connects at the neck”.. Now, I do want to mention that capes are different from ponchos and or wraps.

Depending on how you style a cape, it can definitely make a fashion statement. This elegant clothing can also be styled to protect the wearer or the fine fabrics especially where a coat would hide or worse crush the garment. Capes comes in different variations, colours, materials and styles, it may be short in a blazer form just like this style  here and here which is usually over the shoulders and to the waist. Another style is a wool midi length here, here,  also comes in full-length cloak just like this black velvet material style I have in today’s post.

With the holidays around the corner, styling  a cape with that special outfit will definitely  look elegant, exquisite and opulent, check different styles here.

Six Ways To Wear A Cape Stylishly
  1. Keep it Simple, like wearing the cape over a pair of high waisted  jeans and turtleneck sweater is great for a casual look.
  2. Elevate your work outfit by wearing a cape blazer to work.
  3. Wear it As Part Of Your Outfit. …
  4. Try adding a hat. …
  5. Let the Cape do the talking.
  6. Pair with high boots
  7. Don’t forget to accessorize like sunglasses.

As always thank you for taking timeout to show me some love by being here and continue to stay STYLISH!
