how to style a mini dress as a top

Happy Friday lovelies hope your week has been productively wonderful! This past week has been rainy as seen in today’s post, though fairly warm with chilly mornings and evening which is typical of spring and I hope it continues to get better!
Okay, I am so over wearing mini dresses or anything being mini for that matter, I find I don’t feel as comfortable as I used to be when wearing them, however, I still have pieces like this off the shoulder dress which I love in my closet.  Now if that sounds like you in any way you can actually try this styling option if for any reason you don’t feel like disposing of such pieces like I didn’t want to. I decided to style jeans with off the shoulder dress as a top, as a way to restyle pieces I already have oppose to buying and adding to what I had, which will literally make doubles or more of the same style of clothing.
I love any piece with the off the shoulder, be it in a top or dress, and I will be styling this trend quite a lot this season and in the much warmer months to come. The long sleeves, the three-tiered frills, and the band around the waist and the light feel of the fabric against my skin are the details on this dress that explain my love for it and why I have been keeping it every time I do a closet clean out
I decided to style the mini dress with distressed jeans styled here while I was pregnant, I decided on this styling option as the dress will be too short for me to wear alone, and I added a gold belt to accentuate and define my waist, matching with gold earrings worn here. I then paired this nude fringe sandals worn here and added my all-time favorite pink handbag worn here and here to complete the look!
